KNOWN as the dropper loop, dropper knot or blood loop knot, this is a useful addition to your skills, and is often used to make multiple hookbait rigs, or to attach lures above a jig. The loops can be used to attach hook snoods or, if made large enough, can be cut to create hook snoods – removing the need to secure a swivel and beads with crimps or stop knots on your main rig body.
