New Rovos rail option

LUXURY African rail operator Rovos Rail starts a new 15-day trip across Tanzania, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Angola, in July 2019.

The inaugural trip leaves Dar es Salaam on July 16 and includes a visit to the Selous Reserve, a fly-in two-night safari in South Luangwa National Park (Zambia) and a city tour of Lubumbashi (DRC). It then joins the Benguela line for walking tours on Angola’s recent history. The voyage is available in reverse departing Lobito (Angola) on August 2. Rates are from $12,820pp, minus flights.
