Cyprus on the up
THE CYPRUS Tourism Organisation is celebrating a record-breaking 2017 for arrivals with global visitors up 14.6% in 2017 and UK arrivals up 8.3% year on year.
Of the year’s 3,652,073 arrivals, the UK accounted for 1,253,839 of them, joining Greece as the main sources of tourism for the island.
July was last year’s best month for arrivals (176,880), but August was the biggest month for UK visitors (185,831 arrivals).
