AGENTS should pre­pare for a rush of in­ter­est from clients cu­ri­ous about Port­land, Ore­gon, af­ter the des­ti­na­tion com­pletes its three-week aware­ness cam­paign in Lon­don.

The Pa­cific North­west gate­way city is bring­ing its You Can, In Port­land (#YouCanInPort­land) mes­sage to The Old Tru­man Brew­ery in Shored­itch for a mul­ti­faceted takeover from April 19-May 7.

On show will be some of Port­land’s most in­spired prod­ucts – and the peo­ple who de­sign, cre­ate and cel­e­brate them.

Fea­tures will in­clude a show­case of Port­land-made goods in a pop-up shop, a se­ries of events that in­cludes talks with lead­ing de­sign­ers and en­trepreneurs, live mu­ral mak­ing, craft beer sam­pling, lo­cal wines, Port­land cof­fee, DJ gigs, free ve­gan tat­toos and the op­por­tu­nity to pedal part of the 4,910-mile dis­tance from Lon­don to Port­land on a static bike. Rid­ers will have the chance to win on-the-spot prizes, as well as be­ing en­tered to win one of five pairs of round-trip tick­ets to Amer­ica’s bi­cy­cle cap­i­tal.

The hook is the re­launch of Delta’s non­stop flight from Heathrow to Port­land In­ter­na­tional Air­port, which be­gins fly­ing on May 4. The four-times-a-week ser­vice will op­er­ate un­til Oc­to­ber 26 2018.
