ACA­CIA Africa has seven new tours for 2019 that cham­pi­ons solo trav­ellers. The tours span the op­er­a­tor’s range of short sa­faris, treks, city breaks, short stays and camp­ing col­lec­tions.

“The huge growth of solo travel is per­haps one of the most sin­gu­larly im­por­tant trends to af­fect our in­dus­try this year,” says Arno Del­port, Sales and Mar­ket­ing Man­ager. “In 2019 we will be of­fer­ing four new over­land itin­er­ar­ies, with our camp­ing op­tions re­quir­ing no sin­gle sup­ple­ment.

The op­er­a­tor has also de­vel­oped more ‘bite-size itin­er­ar­ies’ for time-sen­si­tive clients and those mak­ing re­turn vis­its to Africa.

“These are ideal for a mar­ket which val­ues ex­pe­ri­ences above things and is in­clined to fre­quent and spon­ta­neous short trips” Del­port added.
