GLOUCESTERSHIRE SIMULATED GAME DAY

Shooting Gazette - - Elevenses -

Chris Hill sent us this image of the guns that enjoyed a simulated game day he’d organised at Bangrove Farm, Bangrove, Teddington, Gloucestershire, in June in aid of Prostate Cancer UK.

“A substantial sum was raised for Prostate Cancer research via a voluntary, retiring collection,” Chris told Shooting Gazette. “The day was superb, weather was kind and the hospitality was, as always at Bangrove, first class. The majority of guns were from the Witcombe Shoot in Gloucestershire, accompanied by generous friends.

Back row, from left: John Bushell (the Witcombe shoot gamekeeper), Adam Pullen, Mathew Pugh, Phil Blakeway, Chris Hill & Nick Townsend. Front row, from left: David Parris, Peter Gifford, Chris Gator, Richard Cooper, John Costelloe & Martin Williams. Kneeling: Tom Charnock.
