Shooting Gazette - - October 2017 -

billed as ‘the ultimate shooting sunglasses’, this intriguing product could be everywhere in a few seasons’ time, if not earlier. While some guns might be a bit sniffy about donning a pair of futuristic-looking glasses that look like the ones Dutch midfielder edgar Davids used to wear, those who do give these a shot will find themselves immediately more comfortable when facing the kind of blinding sun which sinks lower and shines brighter as the season progresses.

OK, you can’t get away from the fact the sun is still there but when you look towards it its glare is severely softened within a tenth of a second by the small sensor between your eyes, leaving only a muted orb between you and your quarry. You can therefore track the bird for a lot longer and have a better chance of bringing it down cleanly. the frames are constructed well and are comfortable on the face, but just be mindful the LCD lenses are delicate so should be handled with care. try a pair as soon as you can and thank us later.
