wetland Boots By the original Muck Boot company

Shooting Gazette - - The Review -

If you’ve ever owned a pair of boots from The Original Muck boot Company the chances are you’ll have recommended the brand to a friend. So need we continue?

Whenever we’re out on shoot days we’ll always see at least a couple of beaters wearing them

– a sign of durability if nothing else – and that should be a signal to any guns who swear by quality that these are made to last. One

Shootinggazette staffer still has a pair from 2006 and they show no signs of failing him.

The Wetland is one of the brand’s best sellers, aiming to keep feet, as they put it “warm, dry and comfortable in the muddiest and coldest of conditions”.

They certainly appear to be up to the task. The signature 5mm neoprene bootie will offer much-needed flexibility to those who have to navigate nooks and crannies in the field even though it is snug at the top of the calf.

The bootie can be rolled down making the Wetland a boot for more than just the season. Though perhaps not for those who opt for elegance – the thick sole and toe stick out considerably – they are a stable boot.
