The day starts with ba­con rolls, cof­fees and the shoot briefi ng at Kedle­ston Coun­try House. Elevenses takes place af­ter the sec­ond drive, the usual fare plus a rather nice glass of fi zz. Lunch is taken out in the fi eld serv­ing hot home made soup, fresh baked bread, a se­lec­tion of pies and pasties with a slice of fruit­cake and cheese. A two- course meal on the guns’ re­turn to Kedle­ston Coun­try House closes the day in com­fort.
