New BASC president

Lord Geoffrey Dear has been elected as the new BASC president.

A BASC member for more than 33 years, Lord Dear is a keen Shot who has previously supported the charitable work of the Wildlife Habitat Trust. He said: “I shall do all possible to further the work of this fine organisation, at a time when all that it seeks to do is very much in the public eye.”
