Kush collapses with a heart attack…
Story So far
Tragedy has shadowed market stallholder Kush Kazemi for years. His first wife, Safirah, died just weeks after they married in 2012. When he moved to Walford, he met Shabnam Masood. They fell in love and she fell pregnant. But their son, Zaair, was stillborn. They married, but Shabnam discovered Kush was the father of Stacey Fowler’s son, Arthur, and she left him.
The only woman Kush has been serious about since then is Denise Fox. But their relationship has been about as smooth as one of their rumpled sheets after they’ve kissed and made up following a fight.
They seemed to be settling down, though – and then their world in Walford exploded…
Having survived the heart-stopping drama of the gas explosion, Kush has been giving a lot of thought to his relationship with Denise… and he decides the time is right for them to move in together! But is it a step too far too fast for Denise?
‘Kush is wary as he asks Denise to move in with him,’ our Eastenders insider says. And he’s right to be! ‘Because Denise shuts down the idea straight away,’ adds our source.
And that leads to a furious argument between Kush and Denise. Kush storms off and busybody Sonia Fowler sees there’s trouble and swoops in to intervene.
That’s when Kush collapses and he has a cardiac arrest! Has Denise literally broken his heart? Nurse Sonia Fowler turns lifesaver while they wait for the ambulance to arrive and Kush is rushed to hospital.
Kush’s mum, Carmel, and his brother, Shakil, are at his bedside as he fights for life. Denise stands nearby, fearing she’s to blame for what’s happened and willing Kush to live. Maybe telling him something he wants to hear will help…
This could be the end for Khoroush ‘Kush’ Kazemi. And Carmel will never forgive Denise if it is! No matter what the doctors say, Carmel will say Denise is responsible for killing him.
But is she? We know Kush actor Davood Ghadami is going to need some time out to take part in this year’s Strictly Come Dancing… Whether his break will be permanent or not remains to be seen!
