2. A tog value of 4.5 to 6.5 is best for sum­mer; around 9 for spring and au­tumn and any-any thing up to 15 for win­ter.r.

3. You can buy match­ingg pairs of du­vets where one is for sum­mer, the sec­ond for in- be­tween, but put them to­gether in­side a du­vet cover andd they’re suit­able for win­ter.

4. Man­u­fac­tur­ers ( and sleep ex­perts!) as­sume that your bed­room is heated to 180C. 5. Dry clean­ing a du­vet can be ex­pen­sive­ex­pens – only some du­vet types are suit­able for wash­ing­wash ma­chines. 6. YOURY du­vets don’t last for­ever.fore It’s time to re­place them if you can see feath­ers­fea or down pok­ing o out or they start to feel a lit­tle bit lumpy.
