Solihull Film Society
THE society will be screening two films on Saturday, October 27, at the state of the art St Martin’s School Arts Centre, Brueton Avenue, Solihull B91 3EN.
The first film, Bombshell, is the story of actress Hedy Lamarr, inset right, glamorous, sexy, talented and, surprisingly, also a genius inventor. The film will start 6pm.
The second, starting at 8pm, is The Fencer. On the run from the KGB, a champion fencer teaches the sport to Estonian school children, but his past catches up with him. Solihull Film Society was founded in 1958 and invites new members and guests to attend their Films – please call Peggy Burley on 0121 709 2524 or visit www. solihullfilmsociety. co. uk
