Around 200 peo­ple of all ages par­tic­i­pated in the 2018 Rain­bow Run or­gan­ised by Burn­ham RNLI. A warm-up ses­sion was con­ducted by fit­ness guru

Boot camp. The 3.5km run then be­gan at Burn­ham-on-Sea jetty, tak­ing par­tic­i­pants on a colour­ful run to the iconic lower light­house and back. Run­ners and walk­ers were doused in multi-coloured pow­der paint at each of the paint sta­tions along the route.

Or­gan­iser Les­ley Hart thanked ev­ery­one in­volved, say­ing: “This is a fan­tas­tic event for the lo­cal com­mu­nity, rais­ing vi­tal funds for our RNLI Lifeboat sta­tion.”
