POLICE PROBE AS BODY FOUND
INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED AFTER DEATH OF WOMAN AT CARDIFF FLAT
AN INVESTIGATION has been launched after the body of a woman was discovered at a house in Cardiff.
Police were called to an address in Caerau at 10.25am yesterday.
Forensic officers were seen at the blocks of flats on Heol Homfray throughout the day.
There was also a heavy police presence and the area was cordoned off for most of the afternoon.
The main police activity was around a block of flats on the corner of Heol Homfray and Heol Trelai, one of the main streets between Caerau and Ely.
In a statement South Wales Police said the scene was being preserved while investigations continue.
A neighbour, who preferred not to be named, said: “The police were here from about nine o’clock on Thursday morning and they were around most of the day.”
No further details were given by police, who would not comment on whether anybody had been arrested or the nature of the investigation.
