Buses dam­aged in col­li­sion at sta­tion

TWO buses crashed into each other at Quad­rant Bus Sta­tion in Swansea yes­ter­day.

The in­ci­dent hap­pened at around 1.45pm, ac­cord­ing to an eye­wit­ness.

Hugh Rees, who was on an­other ser­vice on his way home to Sketty, de­scribed the mo­ment the two buses hit each other.

“I was sit­ting on my bus, which was wait­ing to leave, when I heard an almighty bang,” he said.

“But it wasn’t us, it was an­other bus in the sta­tion”.

Mr Rees claimed a green park and ride bus, op­er­ated by First Bus Cymru, had crashed into an­other wait­ing First Bus ser­vice.

The two buses were left with dam­aged lights. Noone is thought to have been in­jured.

First Bus Cymru has been asked to com­ment.
