PIXEL BUDS HIT THE GOOGLE STORE

GOOGLE’S take on the wireless earbuds – the Pixel Buds – have finally gone on sale in the UK. You can order the white version now on the Google Store for £179.

The black version of the Buds remains unavailable, but you can sign up to be notified when they do find their way into the store.

Google says it plans to introduce more colours next month.

The Buds have been on sale since the end of April in the US, with users reporting good sound quality but disappointing battery life.

The main selling point aside from the audio is hands-free access to the Google Assistant, provided you’ve paired the Buds with a device running Android 6 or later.

Other features include adaptive volume (volume is adjusted taking the ambient noise level into account), and a somewhat more discreet look than some rivals.

Visit store.google.com for more and to order.
