Little cuties make it fun times three
THESE baby triplets in Southport have enjoyed celebrating their first ever Christmas.
Macy, Bobbie-Ann and Darcie were born on January 21, and have had two big landmarks to look forward to – their first Christmas Day, last Sunday, followed by their first birthdays next month.
It meant a hectic time for proud mum Sarah Johnson – not to mention a busy time for Santa.
Sarah said: “It’s busy but they are all so content and well behaved – for now haha!
“We went to my parents’ for Christmas. It’s bigger, my house is too small for all the gifts. I really didn’t know where I was putting it all.
“I bought three pushalong walkers, matching, and three different rideon toys so they couldn’t argue or cry for each others’, keeping them occupied.”
It was in May last year that Sarah got the shock news that she was expecting not just one but three new arrivals.
She said: “I found out at around six weeks as I was really poorly.
“I had morning and allday sickness. Terrible it was.
“It took me until around 20 weeks for it to sink in and actually accept I was having three.
“I have two boys, Kyle aged seven, and Ethan, aged six, and they are amazing with the babies.
“They do everything from bottles, from a prep machine, so it’s safe, to some nappies.
“I would be so lost without them.
“So this Christmas was a special one because my boys have had their worlds turned upside down and they have just adjusted and accepted the babies and the fact I’m so busy all the time.”
The triplets have become mini local celebrities in Southport over the past few months.
The three cuties stand out wherever they go – shopping trips to Asda in Southport, for example, mean the three of them have to sit across two separate shopping trolleys, with their big brothers helping to push.
Sarah said: “Yes we get stopped all the time! But the babies love all the attention.”
