Dreams come true for talented pupils in calendar competition
THE children of Marshside Primary School in Southport have been selected for a calendar drawing competition for local business, Premier Wealth.
Every year the business sends out its charity calendar and this year asked the children of Marshside if they could help them with the designs.
The drawing competition was based around the idea of “Dreams” as the calendar goes to support the charity, Dreams Come True.
This national charity works hard to enrich the lives of children and young people with serious and life-limiting conditions, aged between two and 21 years old.
The winning entries, which included dreams of world peace, unicorns, rainbows and even Spiderman by the beach, received a gift voucher and a copy of the calendar.
The overall winner was seven year old Michaela Bynon, who dreams of having 1,000 dogs.
A teacher said: “The staff at Marshside Primary are very proud of all the children who came up with such creative ideas and would like to thank Premier Wealth for helping 13 lucky children’s dreams of winning the competition come true.”
