Verve’s new owner excited for future
VERVE in Birkdale will soon be under new ownership.
The popular eating and drinking establishment is to be taken over by Paul Freeman.
Paul has a vast background in hospitality including many years helping to run Verve.
Until recently he managed MJs in Formby. The 24-hour restaurant and drive-through was at one point believed to be serving six thousand meals a week.
Prior to his spell at MJs, Paul was the general manager of the award-winning Town Green Brasserie in Aughton.
Paul said he is excited about his new endeavour, and although he intends to adapt a few things, Paul said he won’t be changing too much.
He said: “As a lot of people already know I’ve helped run Verve on and off for over four years and I feel like I know the business as well as I could. Buying Verve is like a dream come true for me.
“I’m not coming in to reinvent the wheel but there will be a few minor tweaks along the way.”
