Time for some Strictly magic
CELEBRATING 10 years, the Strictly Come Dancing Live UK Tour extravaganza is back on the road.
The show will chassé into Liverpool for two dates at the ECHO arena on February 7 and 8.
There will be evening shows at 7.30pm on both Tuesday 7 and Wednesday, February 8 February with a 2.30pm matinee on the Wednesday.
BBC One’s hugely popular entertainment show returned to TV screens with a new celebrity line-up and a host of breathtaking dance routines and the Strictly’s Live Tour is no different – this event for fans of all ages will bring the magic of the TV show to the arena.
This year’s tour will star TV judges Len Goodman and Craig Revel Horwood.
They will be joined on the judging panel by former Strictly professional dancer and winner of the 2006 series, Karen Hardy.
The tour will also feature a brand new host, Country- file’s Anita Rani, who was a semi-finalist in the 2015 series and a contestant on this year’s live tour.
The judges will provide their wisdom, advice and scores at each performance.
But not only are the celebrities and their dance partners competing for the judges’ scores, they will also be battling to win votes from the arena audiences, who can text vote via their mobile phones and ultimately have the power to decide who wins the coveted Glitterball Trophy at the end of each show.
Former shadow chancellor Ed Balls, sports presenter Ore Oduba and actress Lesley Joseph are the latest celebrities who will be appearing on the tour, joining presenter and singer Louise Redknapp, model Daisy Lowe and actor Danny Mac as the celebrity dancers.
