IN the midst of New Year win­ter, Dou­glas Mu­sic brings the sound of warm south­ern strings and Latin Amer­ica from the gui­tar of Rus­sian­born An­drey Lebe­dev on Satur­day, Jan­uary 14 at 7.45pm in the Arena Au­di­to­rium, Par­bold Vil­lage Hall, WN8 7DN.

He will play evoca­tive Span­ish clas­si­cal gui­tar mu­sic by ro­man­tic com­posers like Isaac Al­b­eniz and Fran­cisco Tar­rega, with works by south­ern hemi­sphere com­posers in the Span­ish tra­di­tion from Aus­tralia, Cuba and Brazil, in­clud­ing Villa Lo­bos.
