Restaurant’s new vegan wines
A SOUTHPORT restaurant has introduced a diverse range of organic vegetarian and vegan wines.
Trattoria 51, renowned for its extensive wine list, has extended its offerings to cater for guests who lead an ‘organic green lifestyle’.
Vegetarians and vegans are often limited to wine choices as many are produced using animal by-products, which is why restaurateur Attilio Sergi wants to provide alternative grape variations at his restaurant on The Promenade.
Attilio said: “Over the years we have noticed a growing trend for those adopting a vegetarian and vegan lifestyle.
“To ensure that there’s something that all of our guests can enjoy, we frequently update our menus and that’s why we wanted to introduce a wine selection that can be perfectly paired to complement our dishes.
“To accompany the wine selection, our classic Italian menus all feature a number of delicious meat-free pasta, pizza and risotto dishes to name a few.”
