Church to host Fab Four event

IT’S Sergeant Pepper Night at Holy Trinity Church, Hoghton Street, Southport this Sunday, May 28 at 6.30pm.

This will be a ‘fab’ celebration of the famous four and their huge influence on our lives.

There will be live Beatles songs from Andy Jones, a talented local musician and songwriter; readings from Beatles lyrics by Rev Philip Caton and some of their greatest music.

Refreshments will be served from 6.15pm.

Come as you are – but it would be great if you could dig out (or hire) hats, pants, beards, shirts, kaftans, jackets, wigs or any memorabilia of the ‘summer of love’ in 1967.

No charge but donations towards refreshments welcome.
