Community Link Foundation
TICKETS are selling really well for Community Link Foundation’s next major fundraising event... you’d be a fool not to get one!
The event, which has an Only Fools and Horses theme, is being held at Southport Rugby Club on Friday, October 13.
The night is part of the annual Southport Comedy Festival so there are plenty of laughs guaranteed.
Called Only Fools and 3 Courses,, the event is being held in the grand marquee at the Waterloo Road club, and it will combine fine food and comedy for an evening of fundraising.
It has been planned by trustees of Community Link Foundation to raise money for the charity which can then be used to support individuals and organisations in Southport and the surrounding areas.
The plans for the evening are quite unique as it is conducted in an Only Fools and Horses style so you can expect a big fun night out all served up by brilliant comedy actors.
But once that side of the event is over, along with a delicious three-course meal, there is still plenty more fun to be had.
The deadBeats Band, a five- piece party band, will entertain the audience before the evening is finished off with a disco.
The event is being sponsored by Mark and Lyn Cunningham from Anthony James Estate Agents and their donation means that the money raised on the night will go directly to the charity.
Enda Rylands, chairman of Community Link Foundation, said: “We are really pleased with how well this event has been received and we are grateful to everyone who has been in touch.
“It’s going to be a really fun night that we hope will be successful in raising money that can be distributed to causes in the local community.”
Tickets are available online at www.southportcomedyfestival. com and from the reception desk at the Ramada Plaza Hotel, either in person or by phoning 01704 516220.
They can also be bought from Southport Rugby Club.
