TELEVISION regular Junior Simpson, from Never Mind The Buzzcocks, is at at LOL Comedy Club, Southport on Saturday.

Simpson is a British standup comedian who quickly established himself as a live performer, as well as a highly sought-after comedian.

He is a regular face on the television, with appearances, including Lily Savage’s Blankety Blank, Richard & Judy, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, The 11 O’Clock Show, School of Silence, Big Brother’s Little Brother and Love Actually.

He has also worked with the likes of Jo Brand, Frank Skinner and Jonathan Ross.

He has performed at festivals all over the world including the Reading, Brighton and Edinburgh Fringe Festivals.

Barry Dodds is a circuit favourite and lovable Geordie who’s cheeky grin hides no end of uproarious and unpredictable stories and gags.

He charms audiences nationwide, with his uniquely tailored combination of disarming wit and wry, down-to-earth observational humour.

As adorable as he is funny, this brilliant comic will captivate you and make you laugh in equal dollops.

He first took to the comedy stage at the tender age of 21, and soon had audiences eating out of the palm of his hand.

Using his own contrasting combination of irrepressibly cheeky and gently mischievous material, he quickly found himself taking the national circuit by storm.

A finalist in various highprofile competitions such as Jimmy Carr’s Comedy Idol and Jongleurs Last Laugh Comedy Search, his twinkly-eyed, playful demeanour disarms judging panels, industry experts and audiences alike, allowing him to flirt coquettishly with topics that are traditionally a little more unusual.

Tales, impressions, sound effects, TV show pitches … these are the things that makes Tom Ward’s act uniquely funny.

His interaction with audiences is a true stand-out mark of his talents. Ward seems to have the ability to pull genuine laughter from thin air in a matter of seconds.

He has perfected his art and the proof is in the response that he gets at each gig.

A finalist at the BBC Radio New Comedy Award 2014, the zippy and zany Ward is a barrel of laughs from start to finish.

LOL Comedy Club is at The Atkinson, Southport, on Saturday, November 4 - tickets are £15 in advance or £18 on the door.
