A SOUTHPORT man was among those fined a total of more than £1,000 for littering.

Rafal Janwa, 37, of Hawesside Street, was one of four people who failed to appear at South Sefton Magistrates’ court on Tuesday, March 27.

They were caught littering by enforcement officers in Sefton.

Rafal Janwa was found guilty in his absence and fined £255.
