Stay safe when the big boats come in

VIS­I­TORS plan­ning to watch the Tall Ships re­gatta from the Sefton coast over the May bank hol­i­day are be­ing ad­vised to stay safe at all times.

Sefton Coun­cil is ask­ing any­one head­ing to Crosby beach on Mon­day, May 28 to watch the re­gatta to stay within 50 me­tres of the prom­e­nade and watch for any tidal move­ment.

Vis­i­tors are also rec­om­mended not to go any fur­ther north than Crosby Coast­guard Sta­tion.

The seafront car parks will re­main open on Mon­day, but park­ing on nearby streets will be re­stricted to emer­gency ve­hi­cles only.
