BBC song spot next on Livvy’s journey...
ABUDDING popstar from Scarisbrick wowed crowds as she performed at BBC Introducing Festi- val.
Olivia Karalius, known on stage as Livvy K, was the opening act at the Festival of Making at Blackburn Town Hall, on Sunday, May 13.
The 16-year-old performed tracks from her debut EP, The Journey Begins, and she was supported by her two dancers Sophie Roughley and Elise Helm.
Since the launch of her EP in Feburary her tracks have been played on BBC Radio Merseyside and she appeared live on BBC Radio Lancashire with Sean McGinty.
The former Burscough Priory student also recently performed a live acoustic version of her song Sunrise at Mighty Radio Southport with Christopher John Stretford.
It seems as though the opportunities keep rolling in for Olivia, as she was asked to perform at the Miss Southport 2018 contest on Friday. May 18.
She has also confirmed that she will be the main act at the Liverpool Fringe Festival on June 30.
Commenting on her performances and upcoming appearances, Livvy K said: “I have received an amazing response from people when I have performed my songs live on stage and to see such a positive reaction from the audience is so encouraging.
“I am looking forward to the next live events and appreciate all the support from everyone.”
Over the past three months, Olivia has been working with her song writer and creative director, John Gillette, and his team from KMGLife in Colarado on the next stage of her album.
She has plans to return to the USA later in the year to continue this working on this collaboration.
Her debut EP The Journey Begins is available for streaming and download on a variety of music platforms, including iTunes and Spotify.
