OAP knife threat man charged
A MAN has been charged after a pensioner was threatened with a kitchen knife during a terrifying robbery at her home.
The 75-year-old victim opened the door to the man at the property in Lime Street, in Southport.
He brandished a kitchen knife and demanded cash before making off with that and cigarettes at about 7pm on May 11.
Graham Wragg, 37, of no fixed abode, has been charged with robbery and possession of a bladed article before Sefton magistrates. No plea was entered and he will be in custody until June 25 at Liverpool Crown Court.
