Kids can join in prey-time at rescue centre!
IF YOU have a wildlife lover in the family, then a trip to Turbary Woods is sure to make them happy!
More than 90 birds of prey, including falcons, hawks, eagles, owls, vultures and lots more are all housed in the beautiful woodland centre near Preston.
This rescue and rehabilitation centre is staffed by passionate and dedicated conservationists who will ensure you leave loving the birds there as much as they do.
Witness a falcon take flight, feel the weight and wonder of a bird of prey and even sponsor one to support their work.
With daily flying displays, special events in school holidays and experience days on offer, there’s plenty of opportunity to get close and personal with your favourite winged friend, and afterwards enjoy something to eat and drink in the adjacent garden centre.
A day at the centre with these birds will be sure to make your spirits soar! There is free participation in flying displays with free holding of the birds and great photo opportunities.
The centre is open all year round and the opening times are 10 10.30am-3.30pm. 30am 3 30pm
The daily flying displays are noon on weekdays and 1pm on weekends and school holidays.
All of the flying displays are dependent on the weather being suitable. Admission costs: Family £15 (two adults and two children); Adults £5; Children £3; OAPs £3. Amateur photographers: Extra £5
