Take a time trip to glimpse your destiny with Future Life Progression

Most people have asked themselves the question… ‘Where do I see myself in five, 10, 20 years?’ But sometimes it can be difficult to imagine what life will be like when we’re so stuck in our routines. Wouldn’t it be amazing if you could have the ability to time travel into the future? You could see where you work and live and who is in your life. You could even have a chat with your future self to gain some guidance.

Yes, possessing the ability to explore the future may seem like the plot of a sci-fi movie – or just wishful thinking, but in fact it’s perfectly possible. Psychic and author Anne Jirsch has developed a method called Future Life Progression

(FLP), which uses powerful visualisation techniques that enable people to see their futures. By doing so, this empowers the person to forge on in life and achieve things they may never have thought were possible. It’s so effective that Anne has helped big businesses, celebrities and Hollywood filmmakers look at what’s ahead and fast track their way to the opportunities that await them. FLP can be used to help you find your soul mate, discover your inner genius or realise your soul’s purpose.

The good news is that anyone can do FLP – you don’t have to be psychic or some kind of visionary. First, let’s explain how it works…

‘FLP works on the same basis as Past Life Regression (PLR), but instead of going back to the past, you jump to the future,’ says Anne. ‘Using powerful visualisation techniques, you have the ability to travel through time and explore years ahead. You are also able to speak to your future self and gain insight and advice.’

Why FLP is different to divination

For millennia humankind has sought answers by gazing into the future using divination techniques such as palmistry, tarot, astrology and runes. Whereas these methods can give accurate predictions, the beauty of FLP is that the process can help you experience your own future in a much more sensory and detailed way. It can feel as though you’re in your future life. You can feel the weather and the texture of the experience as though you were really there – soft furnishings in your new home, clothing, that kind of thing. Rather than having someone else do a reading for you, interpret the information and pass it on to you, you can dip your toe into the future yourself and take charge of your destiny.

‘Now, I know a tarot reading can be pretty good, but with FLP you can eat the cake – rather than just look at it,’ says Anne. ‘People don’t just see into their future, they can feel it.’

In case you were wondering, it’s worth mentioning now that FLP isn’t about manifesting your perfect future. Anne believes we have four possible futures and can experience these through FLP before they happen.

Anne made an amazing discovery

Sixteen years ago, Anne discovered FLP by chance when she was doing a group past life regression with herself and two friends who believed they’d all been connected in a past life. Instead of going back in time, they saw a vision of a skyscraper going up in flames. It didn’t make any sense until two weeks later on 11th September 2001 when the news was filled with the horrors of the Twin Towers attack.

‘It made sense to me, if you can revisit the past through PLR, why can’t you pay a visit to the future?’ says Anne. ‘I knew this was the beginning of something big and felt like I was on the brink of a great discovery. I started taking individuals five and ten years into the future. It hit me that I could use this process to help people. For example, they could see the type of life they would have if they married a particular partner, went for that job promotion, or bought that run down house that later turned out to be a property hotspot. The more I explored FLP, I discovered what a wonderful tool it is to help people take control of their own destiny.’

Manage your destiny

Anne believes that when it comes to the future we all have the capability to create our destiny within what is pre-ordained. ‘I believe life is like being on one huge motorway and at each junction there are choices,’ she says.

‘If (during FLP) you visualise something you feel uncomfortable with you can explore

another future instead. FLP doesn’t show us anything negative unless it’s something we can change.

‘With most people, if they travel 10 years into the future it’s possible that an elderly relative would have passed away or someone we know would have died in a car accident. There would be no point in seeing any of these things during FLP unless there was something you could do about them. On the other hand you may be shown a relationship that’s going nowhere or a dead-end job, because this then gives you the power not to take that route.’

So exactly how far can we leap into the future through FLP? Anne usually helps her clients journey five or 10 years forward as this timeframe helps them make positive changes in their lives right away in the here and now. However, she does believe that it's possible to go much further into the future – as far as 1,000 years and get a glimpse of other life times. The benefit of this is that some people can discover their soul purpose – the reason they are here on this earth.

Your passport to the future awaits

The great thing about ‘time travel’ is there’s no need to pack a suitcase, but you do need to do some preparation to make your FLP experience as fulfilling as possible. There are many different FLP techniques you can use but before each one, Anne recommends doing an ‘Opening up’ exercise to help you get into the zone.

Find a comfortable place to settle down where you won’t be disturbed. Take a few long, deep breaths and each time you breathe in think the word ‘love’ and then with each breath out think the word ‘release’.

Focus on letting go of any negative thoughts and emotions you have and harness a loving positive energy.

The next step is to imagine a white light shining down on you and protecting you with love. As well as protection, white light is associated with universal knowledge. Allow its energy to flow through you and bring you what you need to know.

Once you’ve done this exercise, it’s time to experiment with FLP visualisation (see above and right). There are also plenty of free downloads for guided visualisations on Anne’s website: futurelifeprogression.com. You could try teaming up with a friend and getting them to read the exercises to you, or perhaps you can record them for yourself.
