…give yourself a candle flame reading

Make the most of the dark nights drawing in, by learning lynchnomancy, the mystical art of divining with a flame

Spirit and Destiny - - Trending -

ONE OF THE most popular ways to use this method of divination involves three candles. White candles are good as they are associated with Spirit, but you could also use green for prosperity, red for passion, and purple for spirituality.

LIGHT THE CANDLES

Place three identical candles closely together in a triangular shape and light them. Have a question in mind that has a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answer, such as: ‘Is this the right time for me to go on a spiritual retreat?’

WATCH THE FLAME

Gaze into the flame and notice any images you see appearing in them. You may see people, places or objects. Notice if they hold significance for your question. If one flame burns higher than the others, this indicates a ‘yes’, if it burns low or goes out, take this as a ‘no’.

BE OPEN TO OTHER SIGNS

You may also notice that images start appearing to you in the smoke. Let your mind wander and your intuition guide you as to what they might mean. If wax falls from the candle, notice if it creates any shapes or letters that may be significant to you.

Afterwards blow the candles out.
