CHanneLLeD anD insPireD poetry are extremely similar but it is possible to tell them apart. Inspired poetry has words which knowingly originate from your mind, you are making decisions to include or change words and you consider the overall impression that the poem will make upon the reader. In channelled poetry, the words of the poem originate from Spirit, and if you’re writing these down, it’s likely you’ll be surprised by how quickly the words flow, and how some of them might be words you didn’t even know before. Sometimes, with channelled writing you won’t remember hearing the words or writing them down, and you’ll think ‘I did not write that – no way’. Another clue that you’re channelling a poem is that often Spirit provides their name in the writing.
