Diary of a Psychic
Our regular monthly peek into the life nicky Alan shares with spirits
Take a peek at what a week in the life of a psychic medium looks like in Nicky Alan’s monthly column
Last night I had a chat with Mum in Spirit. I say ‘chat’, it was a one-way conversation. I got no response at all, but at the end of it I asked her to give me a sign that she was around. I had a very important meeting the following morning and wanted to know if she would be there with me, giving me support. When I woke up this morning I had an ‘out of the blue’ email from Anna, a student of mine from years back. As I read it, my mouth fell open. She told me that my mum had visited her and shown her a silver bracelet. Minutes after Mum passed
I took her silver bracelet off her and placed it on my wrist. I said to her, ‘Mum let the first thing from your spiritual mouth be about your silver bracelet.’
Today I give a telephone reading to a lady who asks me why I’m not ‘out there’ bringing joy to so many more people. Problem is that having ME means I have to limit my public appearances. But she’s got me thinking and I meditate and ask my guides how I can help connect with more people.
All I keep seeing is the word TEACH. Then, I draw an angel card and it tells me to share my knowledge through natural talent and creativity. Light bulb moment – I can reach so many more people through videos on YouTube. I send out a request for questions and get hundreds of emails from people about all sorts of spiritual issues. I can teach and help people through my videos in my PJs!
I wake up in a sweat after a dream in which my sister’s friend was having her breasts examined. I still my mind and take myself back to the dream. By doing this, I can remember every detail, which makes me more convinced that the dream was a psychic message. I decide to contact my sister’s pal, as I couldn’t bear it if I didn’t mention it and things didn’t turn out well for her. She tells me that her mum is being tested for the breast cancer gene and if the results are positive, she will be tested, too. I was so glad to be able to tell her that she was smiling in my dream, which leads me to believe in a positive outcome.
I’ve had a brain-zapping headache for two days now. I don’t want to keep taking pills and so burn some relaxing lavender oil. Suddenly this loud booming voice says, ‘Selenite.’ I recognise it as an angel voice, they sound so much stronger and clearer than spirit people. I grab my selenite wand, and place it first on my temples, then my forehead, eyes and cheekbones. I have an urge to go to sleep, and when I wake my headache has vanished. It still amazes me how we can be helped if we open ourselves up to the angel and spirit realms.
I take my dogs for a stroll and meet up with a man who introduces himself as Norman and tells me he’s recently lost his wife. We sit and talk for ages and I explain to him what happened to his wife after she passed, where she is now, and the signs to look out for when she’s ready to visit him. He looks like a new man when I say goodbye. Later that day I’m sitting in my sun room when I hear a female voice say, ‘Thank you’. I then see a happy smiling face in my mind’s eye, but don’t recognise this lady at all. That evening, however, all is revealed. Norman’s sent me a friend request on Facebook and there, sitting next to him in his photo, is the smiling lady who had said thank you. MORE FROM NICKY NEXT MONTH
