Once you feel calm, bring your awareness back. Revisit this exercise for two minutes each day throughout the moon’s cycle and reflect on what shifts have occurred in your life.
When it comes time for the new moon, find a private place. Close the door and make yourself comfortable. Activate your senses by lighting a scented candle or using an essential oil, make a cup of herbal tea, and turn on soothing music.
If there is a specific area of your life that is out of balance, you may wish to get more targeted with your words. For example, ‘I feel calm and balanced in my marriage.’
Close your eyes and allow yourself to breathe through your nostrils. Place your right hand on your heart and draw a few breaths into this part of your body. Notice how it feels – what kind of physical sensations can you feel?
Place your left hand on your belly and draw a few breaths into this part of your body. Notice how it feels. Say these words out loud, ‘I feel calm and balanced.’
