Scubafest Cornwall to be ‘bigger and better’
This year’s Scubafest Cornwall promises to be bigger and better than previous years, say organisers. Following on from a successful weekend in 2016, there will once again be lots going on for divers of all abilities this year, ranging from the absolute beginner to those touching on tech. Manufacturers such as Suunto, Mares, Typhoon and Atomic Aquatics will be in attendance to show off all the latest gear, including tech computers, drysuits and regulators. There will be try dives for non-diving family members, technical try dives for those looking to go a little further with their diving, freediving workshops and loads of other stuff to keep the diver and their non-diving family happy for the whole weekend. For those wanting to salt their kit there will be the option of shore, RIB and hard boat diving from both the north and south shores of Cornwall, so regardless of the weather there will be somewhere to get wet. Pentewan Sands Holiday Park will host the event again and promises a weekend of entertainment from live bands and disco to karaoke. For more information, visit www.cornwallscubafest.co.uk.
