FAREWELL, MY LOVELIES!

Sport Diver - - Koh tao -

With a rather heavy heart, I very much regret to announce that this will be the last of my regular columns in this superb magazine, as my duties within PADI have changed and other, lucky colleagues will be looking after PADI Diving Society-related issues. I am taking some great memories with me, including forward-roll entries and a ‘21-bum salute’ in the Caymans; swapping countless scuba stories in pubs and bars at Society events, ‘Fests’ and shows; many, many awesome dives (mighty Oriskany, you know who you are!); my introduction to rebreather diving in Egypt; and, of course, monthly prods from your esteemed Editor, Mark Evans, reminding me that my overdue column submissions are holding up publication yet again. Thanks for all the fun and friendship I have enjoyed through the Society over the last 15 years or so, and I look forward to seeing you at events in the future; in the meantime, remember the phrase ‘MYPADI’, and keep an eye open for developments under that sobriquet…
