Atos, the in­ter­na­tional IT com­pany which is a TOP spon­sor of the In­ter­na­tional Olympic Com­mit­tee, was ap­pointed to de­velop a com­mon data plat­form for the As­so­ci­a­tion of Sum­mer Olympic In­ter­na­tional Fed­er­a­tions that will be used to pro­vide a sin­gle point for re­sults and bi­o­graph­i­cal data of ath­letes. In what is de­scribed as “a first in the sport sec­tor”, Atos will be re­spon­si­ble for cre­at­ing a sys­tem that will of­fer data to or­gan­is­ers of events, in­clud­ing the Olympic Games, with im­proved in­for­ma­tion ser­vices for the me­dia. The con­tract won by Atos cov­ers de­liv­ery of the first phase of the In­ter­na­tional Sports In­for­ma­tion Sys­tem (ISIS) pro­ject in which in­ter­na­tional fed­er­a­tions, through ASOIF, will take own­er­ship and con­trol of the col­lec­tion, ver­i­fi­ca­tion, dis­tri­bu­tion and ex­ploita­tion of their sports data.

In­front Sports and Me­dia, the Switzer­land­based in­ter­na­tional sports mar­ket­ing agency, was ap­pointed by FISI, the Ital­ian win­ter sports fed­er­a­tion, as its mar­ket­ing agent and ad­viser in a fiveyear deal cov­er­ing spon­sor­ship sales and man­age­ment that will also in­volve en­hanc­ing the fed­er­a­tion’s brand. Along with man­ag­ing key FISI spon­sor­ships and find­ing new part­ners, In­front will be in­volved in the con­cep­tual plan­ning of events in Italy. The agency is al­ready FISI’s me­dia rights dis­tri­bu­tion part­ner for FIS World Cup races that take place in Italy.
