Foxes on the squeak
What fox calls do you find to be the best on the market? I have seen there are lots of different types and sounds but didn’t know which would be the best one for typical squeaking.
Tom says: Fox calls are a tricky one to decide. It’s really a case of experimenting and finding something that you like, or that you find works well for you.
There aren’t any commercially-made fox calls or sounds that will work in every situation.
I find it’s best to carry more than one brand and try different ones to get the best results. For example, we may try squeaking on a hand and if that doesn’t work switch to something else. It’s key to read the reaction of every fox you try to call and try and find something that works for you.
