New show for the North
A new shooting show, hosted at the Great Yorkshire Showground, will make its debut in May this year.
Held on Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 May, The Northern Shooting Show will combine retail, competition and hands-on fun for experienced shooters and newcomers alike.
The organisers have strived to keep the cost of stands down to encourage and enable smaller shooting businesses and brands to come along, providing as diverse a mix of attractions as possible.
Areas of the showground will be dedicated to specific interests or disciplines including gamekeeping and gundogs; airguns; rifles; optics/ night vision; and antique/classic guns.
There will also be a ‘try before you buy’ airgun range, a double deuce .22 live rimfire range, and a clay shooting line where instructors will be on hand to coach less experienced individuals.
The show is officially supported by BASC. For more information, visit the show’s website: www.northernshootingshow.co.uk
