Sporting Shooter - - Technique: Gun Mount -

I am fortunate to be able to teach at the Holland & Holland shooting grounds: 120 acres of rolling countryside well within the M25, 150 automatic traps, towers, grouse layouts and a full range of Sporting stands. We have four full-time and four on-call instructors and are open Monday to Saturday. The facilities are second to none and we fit clients’ own guns as well as Holland & Holland guns and Berettas for the Beretta Gallery. Many other gunmakers send their clients here as we are acknowledged experts in the field. The first shooting ground started in 1880 at Kensal Rise, Central London and moved to Wembley in 1912 then to our current site in 1930. We continue to develop the facility; we are building a £4.5m corporate venue with an underground schiesskino – a shooting cinema, using full-power rifles and ammunition (not lasers) to shoot at running boar, etc. on a cinema screen at 25m. It is the best training available and the only one in the UK. We also have a 100-yard rifle range for teaching and zeroing.
