Zane Gbang­bola’s in­quest un­der way

KYE Gbang­bola be­gan giv­ing ev­i­dence this week at the in­quest into the death of his son Zane.

Mr Gbang­bola was ques­tioned by bar­ris­ters about the events lead­ing up to Zane’s death on Fe­bru­ary 8, 2014 in which Mr Gbang­bola was left a para­plegic.

Mr Gbang­bola, along­side his wife and Zane’s mum, Ni­cole Lawler, be­lieves Zane died as a re­sult of toxic poi­son­ing from flood­wa­ter con­tam­i­nated by land­fill.

The six-week in­quest is ex­pected to last un­til July 15.
