Zane Gbangbola’s inquest under way
KYE Gbangbola began giving evidence this week at the inquest into the death of his son Zane.
Mr Gbangbola was questioned by barristers about the events leading up to Zane’s death on February 8, 2014 in which Mr Gbangbola was left a paraplegic.
Mr Gbangbola, alongside his wife and Zane’s mum, Nicole Lawler, believes Zane died as a result of toxic poisoning from floodwater contaminated by landfill.
The six-week inquest is expected to last until July 15.
All the details from week two at Woking Coroner’s Court can be found in this Friday’s Runnymede & Spelthorne edition of the Surrey Advertiser.
