Jungle look so cool for school

Staines Informer - - NEWS -

A STAINES primary school’s jungle themed summer fair raised more than £3,000.

The PTA, teachers, parents and children of Buckland Primary School rallied round for the annual fair on Saturday June 18.

The rain, thankfully, just about held off for the day, so families were able to enjoy a variety of stalls and events, with competition prizes donated by local businesses.

The money will go towards funding extra-curricular activities, new items for the school and to fund future events.

Headteacher Rebecca Hutton said: “It was a pleasure working alongside so many committed families in my first year as headteacher at another successful Buckland Primary Summer Fair.

“We had a fantastic turnout and all the money will go towards enhancing our rich and diverse curriculum”.
