Training key for Rico

Staines Informer - - NEWS -

Name: Rico Breed: Mongrel Sex: Male Age: 2 years, 1 month Ref: 341682 RICO is a sweet, clever, fun and loving boy with much to offer.

He is calm and relaxed at home and in many areas is easy to train and deal with.

Rico grew up in a quiet location and came in due to his family’s circumstances. He found the return to kennels extremely stressful. But with training and away from site he has proved responsive and trainable and now enjoys daily off-site walks.

Owners will need to be confident around dogs and patient. Their lifestyle is also very important as in the right situation Rico is much less likely to become anxious or over-aroused.

He needs a home with company and interaction with fun games and reward based training but not one where the owners wish to walk in busy parks or immediately spend hours walking.

They should be prepared to let him settle at home so that he and they will not have to deal with any potential stress/lead ragging as he settles and they get to know each other and their routine.

He shows a variety of traits typical of both bull breeds and whippets.
