Body of man aged 35, is recovered from Thames
A BODY was found in the River Thames during the early hours of Tuesday, after a man fell from a boat.
The man, who is believed to have been fishing, fell into the river near Thames Street in Weybridge at 11.40pm on Monday.
Fire crews from Sunbury and Walton searched the area using boats and dive equipment, with crews from Chertsey and Painshill also at the scene. A police helicopter assisted with the search of the Thames early on Tuesday.
The body of a 35-year-old man was recovered from the water around 4.20am on Tuesday.
A police spokesman said enquiries were ongoing.
