The busker turned X- Fac­tor favourite Jack Ma­son popped into his lo­cal op­ti­cians at 25 Union Street, Alder­shot, to col­lect his de­signer Su­per Dry and Diesel frames.

De­spite be­ing knocked out in a pre­vi­ous Satur­day’s show, the team be­lieves Jack oozes X- Fac­tor ap­peal in his new frames.

Store di­rec­tor Mark Dunn said: “We have all been long- stand­ing fans of Jack, ad­mir­ing his mu­si­cal prow­ess when he used to busk right here in Alder­shot.

“He has been a cus­tomer for a few years and we were root­ing for him to make it all the way to the fi­nals.

“His achieve­ments have been in­cred­i­ble and we are sure the ex­po­sure he has re­ceived will help fur­ther his mu­si­cal ca­reer.”

Jack was in­vited into the store to pick out some new specs in his ca­pac­ity as a loyal cus­tomer, and he homed in on the young, fash­ion­able frames of Diesel and Su­perdry.

Mark said: “Our store is home to many well- loved, fash­ion­able brands.

“We launched a line by Kylie Minogue this year that she ex­clu­sively de­signed for Spec­savers.

“Other new lines this year in­clude Nicole Farhi, Pierre Cardin and later this month, an ex­cit­ing new range by Bal­main.”
