TWO ‘TONS’ IN TWO DAYS

On page 80 of SR467, the caption states that the run with No. 35003 on June 26 1967 was the last time a steam locomotive reached 100mph. In fact, the same locomotive achieved 105mph at the same place, near Fleet, two days later on June 28. I was on both runs. Don Benn, by email
