• BOOST FOR ‘TAFFY TANK’

Gwili Railway volunteers have acquired two machine tools in an auction of equipment from a closed engineering works in Newport. The hydraulic press and sheet roller will allow restoration work on Taff Vale Railway 0-6-2T No. 28 (SR503) to be carried out in-house rather than being contracted out, thus saving costs.
