Invitation to potential lottery applicants
Stirling area groups considering an application for a lottery bid next week have the chance to learn more about the process.
The Big Lottery Fund Scotland advice team and staff will be at the Scottish Event Campus, formerly known as the SECC, on Wednesday and Thursday at the popular event known as the The Gathering.
They will be ready to offer advice and information at Stand 112 on how the Big Lottery Fund works in Scotland and how to access their funding.
Every year, Big Lottery Fund Scotland distributes millions of pounds of the National Lottery’s good cause money to community groups and charitable projects around the UK
The Gathering is the only event of its kind in Scotland and is a unique opportunity for people in the third sector to meet, connect and share ideas.
It’s also a great way to form new partnerships and learn from a wide range of colleagues.
In addition, delegates can sign up for the Big Lottery Fund workshop on Wednesday from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
The workshop will provide up-todate advice and information from the Big Lottery Fund team on the National Lottery funding available to communities across Scotland as well as tips on how to apply and advice on what constitutes a good application.
MSP for Mid Scotland and Fife Alexander Stewart said: “I would fully support this initiative and actively encourage all my constituents who are interested, to go along and enjoy the event.”
